The TSB reading desk DISKUS has been specially adapted to the needs of visually impaired children and has been developed for use at home and at school. It is an ergonomic tool on which books and notebooks are placed, so that especially visually impaired children can take a comfortable, ergonomic sitting position for reading and writing.
Due to a usually good ability to accommodate, especially younger visually impaired people can achieve a magnification effect by approaching alone.

Tools to promote visual ability
The Light Box colored is an improved version of the Brailletec Light Box, a tool specifically designed to promote the visual abilities of visually impaired children.
The Light Box colored essentially consists of a translucent white plastic panel that is illuminated from below. In this way, a uniformly illuminated work surface is created, which increases the contrast and luminance of the applied materials and thus optimally takes into account the perceptual conditions of visually impaired children.
The Light Box colored is controlled by a remote control. All important functions can be selected with the five buttons: Switching on, off, switching from white to color, dimming, dynamic color modes. With the help of the color ring, numerous light colors can be infinitely adjusted. The electronic dimmer allows to adjust the light intensity and the light color to the needs of the individual child. By gradually reducing the luminous intensity, the transfer of acquired skills to situations in normal lighting conditions can be supported.
The Light Box colored can either be used as a flat working pad or tilted in four steps. Two variably usable, stable metal feet also allow the Light Box to be set up vertically. By means of built-in retaining rails, working films are held in their position even when inclined. The cold, efficient and fluorescent light source (LED white 3000 cd/m2) is durable and housed in a sturdy metal housing measuring 550 x 380 x 60 mm.

TSB Light Panel
The TSB light desk is a tool that has been specially developed to promote the visual abilities of visually impaired children. It is controlled by means of an infrared remote control.
The brightness, 20 light colors and 6 light effects can be adjusted. All effects are variable in speed. In addition to the preset colors, you can also create your own colors. By means of an inclined position, the inclination can be varied in 6 steps (approx. 20° to 70°). The optionally available clamping rail prevents learning material and/or the toy from slipping off the desk. It can be installed both horizontally and at an angle.
With the help of the magnet set, various learning materials and/or toys can be attached to the light desk or moved over the illuminated surface.
