TactiPad drawing board

The TactiPad is a versatile drawing board with the help of which it is possible for people with visual impairments to make their own drawings. The principle is based on an embossing technique in which the sheet – a thin plastic film – is ‘machined’ either with a pen or other pointed object by vigorous printing. The plastic film is placed on a rubber base, which creates increased, palpable lines when drawing. The ergonomic design facilitates handling and thus drawing becomes a fun activity.
The TactiPad offers numerous application possibilities: It is the ideal drawing board for leisure activities and school or helpful companion in the profession. Ideal also for on the go, as board and accessories are delivered in a practical carrying bag.
Alternatively, simple sketches can be made by hand or precise drawings can be made using the drawing tools – ruler, triangle, angular knife and circle. Eight adjustable buttons and measuring indicators make it possible to precisely fix the auxiliary tools.

In order to expand the display options on the TactiPad even more, three additional drawing tools are available as accessories in addition to the regular tools.
GraphGrid is the equivalent of grid paper. Rubber bands can be used to add a grid on the drawing surface. This can be used, for example, to create tables or for repetitive patterns or graphics and other mathematical drawings.
The CircleFrame is used to create circular drawings with great accuracy. With this drawing tool, pie charts, the dial of a clock or other interesting circular patterns and motifs can be easily displayed.
TactiForma is designed to create precise technical and creative drawings based on geometric shapes.
