Label printers offer a simple and reliable solution for marking objects and materials in Braille. They can be used to create self-adhesive labels in a short time, which can be glued to packaging, medicine cans, bottles and folders, for example.
There are different models that can either be operated on the computer or used directly via an integrated Braille keyboard. This makes the label printers suitable for both sighted and blind users. Electrical marking device BL-1000 LINK
The electrical marking device enables both sighted and visually impaired people to quickly and easily produce transparent and self-adhesive Braille labels with the help of suitable aids (braille line/screen reader software).
No Braille knowledge is required to operate the device, because a program converts the letters and numbers for embossing directly into Braille. Embossed on a 10 m long strip roll (13 mm width), from which the finished stickers are cut at the touch of a button.
The Braille labeler is connected to a PC or notebook exclusively with Windows operating system, on which the text is created and stored. The desired quantity is then set.
After embossing, the carrier film is peeled off protective film under the one on the label and can then be glued to the objects to be labelled such as pharmaceutical packaging, bottles, menus, cans, etc.

6dot Braille Label Maker
The ergonomically designed 6dot Braille Label Maker makes it easy to create high-quality labels in Braille. The electric labeling device has a built-in Braille keyboard and supports all grades of Braille in virtually any language. In addition, it is possible to use the device with an English USB computer keyboard. This also allows operators without Braille knowledge to create labels in Braille.
In addition to the three function keys, there are six large-format Braille buttons, which are arranged on the top of the device. The Braille buttons are optimally positioned and allow easy two-handed text entry. The space bar is located below the Braille buttons and can thus be operated with the thumb.
