Tactile labeling
Tactile labels make information tangible and visible at the same time. They make an important contribution to accessibility and enable all people to have a safe orientation. Whether packaging, medicine can, menu or door sign – with braille dots, tactile lines and supplementary black lettering, content is immediately accessible.
Blista Brailletec manufactures tailor-made solutions that are precisely tailored to your needs. Durable materials and processes are used, which create clear, permanently tactile structures and, if necessary, also integrate easy-to-read black script.
Self-adhesive labels
Our self-adhesive films and labels can be used flexibly and are suitable for numerous applications. They can be affixed to packaging, medicine cans, bottles or documents, providing a quick way to access important information in Braille.
The films are stable, but at the same time adaptable to different formats. On request, the braille dots and the tactile lines can be combined with black writing. This creates labels that provide clear orientation for both sighted and blind users.
Braille Signs
For permanent marking, we produce signs made of aluminium with embossed braille. They are robust, weather-resistant and therefore suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Typical applications are room markings in public buildings, orientation systems in companies or outdoor markings.
Here, too, a combination with black writing is possible. This allows tactile and visual information to be combined, which means that signs can be used equally by all people.
Printing and Embossing Technology in Detail
Embossing
When embossing, braille dots and tactile elements are embossed directly into the material. This technology ensures clear, permanently palpable structures that remain even with intensive use. It is particularly suitable for aluminium, zinc, various plastics incl. suitable, self-adhesive films. Embossed labels are durable, easy to clean and reliable to use.
Print
The inkjet process allows even more freedom of design. In addition to plastics, glass, ceramics, wood structures and composites can also be printed. Tactile symbols, outlines or numbers can be applied, which are also tactile. In addition, color elements can be set, which makes orientation easier for sighted people.
Combination
Particularly versatile are solutions that combine both methods. Thus, braille dots can be created by embossing, while complementary symbols or color processes are implemented in the printing process. In this way, labels are created that are tactilely clear and visually appealing at the same time.
